TEA Allows Accounting II as Math Credit

EXCITING NEWS!!  Beginning with the 2017-18 school year, the TEA high-school graduation requirements will now allow Accounting II as the THIRD math credit.  (Students must first receive credit for Algebra I and Geometry.)  Coaches, please contact your local school district administration to find out if this is approved locally.  If it is not yet approved, please encourage your local school district to approve this credit locally.  Students will be better prepared for Accounting II if they first take Accounting I.  Here is an opportunity to encourage school districts to bring Accounting back into the high school curriculum!  This will, in turn, strengthen the participation in UIL Accounting!!!
