NEW! The 2012 LFCPA District Practice Test does include payroll.  This test focuses on concepts that did not get included in UIL 2012 Set A, UIL 2012 Set B, or any of the previous LFCPA District Practice Tests.

The following tests were written last year, but are still beneficial practice for the current year.

The 2011 LFCPA District Practice Test does include payroll.  This test focuses on concepts that did not get included in UIL 2011 Set A, UIL 2011 Set B, or 2010 LFCPA District Practice Test.

Detailed Solutions for the 2011 LFCPA District Practice Test--This is so much more than mathematical computations that show you how to arrive at each answer.  It includes narrative explanations, pitfalls, shortcuts, and the theory behind the answer.  It also explains how to use the given information AND provides ordered steps to solve each group of problems.  This document is useful for novice students and teachers who need more than the printed key that comes with the test.  There are as many pages in the Detailed Solutions as there are in the test itself!  Detailed Solutions are sold separately.

The 2010 District practice test does include payroll.  When writing this test, my focus was to use concepts that did not get included in UIL 2010 Set A or 2010 Set B although you can always expect certain concepts to be included on any invitational or district level test (okay, like a bank reconciliation).

This 2010 Regional practice test provides intense coverage of regional level concepts.  It could be used as an assessment tool to gauge a student's understanding of the regional level concepts.  It will also serve as excellent contest preparation.

The 2010 State practice test is designed with 90% state level concepts and 10% regional level concepts.  About 60% of the test uses the answer format of "no-choice numeric" which decreases the opportunity for guessing.  So this test should prove to be a valuable tool in assessing a student's understanding of state level concepts and a strong review as students prepare for state meet!
